LITTLE FLOCK MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH
"A Place of Worship Where There Are No Big "I's" and Little "You's"
Pastor Dave McCarter was born in San Mateo, California to Jerry and Savannah McCarter in 1962, the second youngest of sixteen children. At a young age, his parents moved to Lathrop, California where he learned to raise farm animals and work in the field.
At the age of seven, his parents separated and he went to live in Stockton, California, with his mother. There they began attending Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor O.D. Howard. After the retirement of Pastor O.D. Howard, due to health reasons, he served under Pastor Robert Busby Sr.'s leadership for twenty years.

At the age of nine, he began to drive diesel trucks in the onion fields and received his Class A Commercial License at the age of fifteen. He began to drive trucks in his father's business shortly after.

He attended various schools in Stockton, California: Taylor Elementary, Jackson Elementary, Hamilton Junior High and on to Edison High School. He later attended Delta College for one year after finishing high school.
In 1989, he was called by God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He went on to start his own trucking business while working and taking care of his family, helping others and attending church. In 2008, Pastor Busby announced his retirement and in 2009, Reverend Dave McCarter was left as Interim Pastor. In 2010, God appointed and the people elected Reverend Dave McCarter as Senior Pastor of Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church.

He began to carry out the orders of the Lord under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Since then, the church has really grown spiritually and financially. Under the leadership of Pastor McCarter, a Neighborhood Outreach Program and youth service was implemented, a 47 passenger bus was purchased to allow members to travel together when fellowshipping with other churches, the church developed a praise dance team, a Sister to Sister group was formed and many other spiritual services. God has increased membership and blessed the church in many ways.

In 2013, Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church purchased the house next door, which was later removed to become an empty lot, that has now been used to house their church picnics and other events. In 2016, a brand new 15 passenger van was purchased to help transport for churfh related events and activities.

Pastor McCarter continues to lead with compassion, understanding and a love for God and His people. His favorite saying is "There is no big I's or little You's, all are important to God".

Beyond the committments to Little Flock, Pastor McCarter is married to his lovely wife Carrolle and a father to three children: Michal, Kameron and Kenneth.

It is Pastor McCarter's prayer that they continue to be nurtured in Christ and that he is the father, husband and Pastor that the Lord is calling for in these last and evil days.
